  Jacques Bermon Webster II, born April 30 1991, is more commonly popularly known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. The stage name he uses is the name of his favorite uncle, paired with the name of one of his idols, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major-label contract with Epic Records and a publishing agreement with Kanye West's GOOD Music. In April 2013 Scott signed a joint recording contract with Epic and T.I. He's signed to Epic as well as T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first full-length album, Owl Pharaoh (1983), was self-released. In 2013 Scott self-released the mixtape Owl Phaoh. A second mixtape, Days Before Rodeo was released in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first album of studio work. It featured the hit track "Antidote". His follow-up album entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016), became his first number one album on the Billboard 200. Scott released his second album together with Quavo Huncho Jack Huncho (2016). The album is his third studio album Astroworld. Scott also recorded his first Billboard Hot 100 #1 single, "Sicko Mode" which featured Drake. Scott's album JackBoys was released in late in 2019 by Cactus Jack Records. It made it to the top of the Billboard 200. Following the release of his single "Franchise", which featured Young Thug and M.I.A., Scott was successful in releasing the album compilation JackBoys. Scott became the first artist on the Hot 100 to have three singles reach number 1 in less that one year in 2020.
